Zusammenfassung
Die Tarsorrhaphie ist zur Zeit eine Ausnahmeindikation beim Lagophthalmus, und neu entwickelte Techniken können das Auge mindestens so gut schützen wie eine Tarsorrhaphie und sind kosmetisch eindeutig besser. - Die Tarsorrhaphie bleibt bei passageren Fazialisparesen indiziert.
Summary
Tarsorrhaphy is at present rarely indicated in lagophthalmos surgery. Newly developed techniques give at least as much protection to the eye as tarsorrhaphy and are clearly preferable cosmetically. Tarsorrhaphy continues to be indicated in transient facial pareses.
