Die Wirkung von Timolol und Acetazolamid auf die intraokulare Druckerhöhung nach Extractio lentis mit Alpha-Chymotrypsin

Zusammenfassung

Nach der intrakapsulären Linsenextraktion mit Alpha-Chymotrypsin wurden 3 Gruppen von 14 Patienten gebildet. Bei der ersten wurde Timolol 0,25 % 2mal 1 Tropfen, bei der zweiten Acetazolamid in der Depot-Form lmal 500 mg gegeben und die dritte diente als Kontrolle. Bei allen Gruppen fiel der postoperativ erhöhte Druck innerhalb der ersten 5 postoperativen Tage deutlich ab. Mit Timolol wurde der Druckabfall am 4. und 5. postoperativen Tag beschleunigt. Acetazolamid beschleunigte den Druckabfall nicht.

Summary

After intracapsular lens extraction with alpha-chymotrypsin three groups of 14 patients were formed. The first group was given Timolol 0.25% 2x1 drops, the second acetazolamide in sustained release form 1 x 500 mg and the third served as control. In all three groups the postoperatively elevated pressure diminished significantly in the first five postoperative days. The pressure diminution on the fourth and fifth postoperative day was accelerated by Timolol but not by acetazolamide.
