Zusammenfassung
Der klinische Befund und der postmortale pathologische und histopathologische Befund
einer 79jährigen Patientin mit klinisch nicht sicher zuzuordnenden Veränderungen am
hinteren Augenabschnitt werden demonstriert. Die Patientin zeigte keine sonstigen
klinischen und immunologischen Hinweise für eine Sarkoidose. Eine histologische Identifizierung
der ungewöhnlichen Augenveränderungen ist bei nicht vorliegender Indikation zur Enukleation
durch das plötzliche Versterben der Patientin an einer Schrittmacherkomplikation möglich
geworden.
Summary
The clinical and postmortem pathologic and histopathologic findings in a 79-year-old
female patient with changes in the posterior segment which could not be identified
with certainty are described. There were no other clinical or immunological indications
of sarcoidosis. Histological examination of the unusual changes in the eye, which
gave no indication for enucleation, became possible because of the sudden death of
the patient due to a pacemaker complication.
