Nervenzellen dank des Herpesvirus suis beim Rattenauge
Das Herpesvirus suis wird als Markierer der das Rattenauge innervierenden Bahnen benutzt
(X. Martin, M. Dolivo, Neurosci. Lett., Suppl. 5, 1980, 197). Das Virus wird mittels Immunfluoreszenz und
Elektronenmikroskopie dargestellt. Die Präzision der Markierung erlaubt uns morphologisch-funktionelle
Korrelationen im Ganglion Gasseri aufzustellen, indirekt die transneuronale Passage
des Virus zu beobachten und anzunehmen, dass das Ganglion pterygo-palatinum an der
Innervation sowohl der Uvea, des Limbus als auch der Konjunktiva beteiligt ist.
Summary
The herpesvirus suis is used as a tracer of the nerve paths supplying the rat eye
(X. Martin, M. Dolivo, Neurosci. Lett., Suppl. 5: 197, 1980). The presence of the
virus is revealed by immunofluorescence and electron microscopy. The precision of
the tracing enables morphological-functional correlations to be established in the
trigeminal ganglion, the transneuronal crossing of the virus to be observed indirectly
and supports the assumption pterygopalatine ganglion participates in the innervation
of the uvea, the limbus and the conjunctiva.
