Zusammenfassung

Es wird über den Fall eines 14jährigen Knaben mit Homocystinurie und die Notwendigkeit einer frühzeitigen Diagnose berichtet. Leitsymptome waren: Kugellinsen, Linsensubluxation und -luxation, arterielle und venöse Gefäßkomplikationen.

Summary

A case of homocystinuria in a 14-year-old boy is described. The principal symptoms were spherophakia, subluxation and luxation of the lens, arterial occlusion and thromboembolic complications. The necessity of early diagnosis is emphasized.
