Die augendrucksenkende Wirkung dosierter Laserkoagulation des Trabeculum corneosclerale - I. Tonographische Analyse postoperativer Frühphase*

Zusammenfassung

Die Wirkung einer Trabekuloplastik nach Wise (TBP) wurde bei 10 an Glaucoma simplex erkrankten Augen durch 7 Tage mittels Tonographie analysiert. Dem Ergebnis zufolge war der unmittelbar nach einer TBP auftretende markante Anstieg des Augendruckes durch eine ausgeprägte Erhöhung des Kammerwasserabflußwiderstandes (R) bedingt und eine ebenso deutliche Verminderung des Kammerwasserminutenvolumens (F) gemildert. Während der darauffolgenden 6 Tage war der Augendruck anhaltend vermindert, der Abfall des R, anfangs noch signifikant, war am 6. Tag nicht mehr sicher nachweisbar und die Schwankungen des F waren durchwegs nicht signifikant.

Summary

In 10 eyes suffering from glaucoma simplex, trabeculoplasty (TBP) was performed in the lower half of the corneoscleral trabeculum. Using an applanation tonometer, the diurnal pressure was recorded for 8 days and tonography performed daily at 10 a.m. TBP was performed at 9:30 a.m. on the second day. The results of this study revealed a marked elevation of intraocular pressure immediately after the TBP, accompanied by a highly significant increase in the resistance to aqueous outflow (R) and an equally highly significant fall in the minute volume of aqueous flow (F). During the following 6 days the intraocular pressure remained lower, the drop in R was significant for two days but not at the end, and the fluctuations of F were negligible throughout.
