Zusammenfassung

Die bereits bewährte Y-förmige Silikonschlauch-Intubation wurde verbessert durch Hinzufügen einer ballonartigen aufblasbaren Manschette zum Offenhalten der neugeschaffenen Tränennasensack-Nasenhöhlen-Anastomose bei der Dakryozystorhinostomie. Durch einen wandintegrierten Zuführungsschlauch kann der Ballon individuell aufgeblasen werden (z. B. mit Ringerlösung, Kontrastmittel) und verhindert auf diese Weise Stenosierungen im Schleimhautanastomosenbereich. In Kombination mit einer U-förmigen Canaliculus-Silikonschlauch-Intubation ist hierdurch insbesondere bei Revisionen eine direkte komplette Intubation der Tränenwege möglich.

Summary

The proven Y-shaped intubation system was modified by adding an inflatable balloon to hold open the anastomosis between the lacrimal sac and the nasal cavity after DCR procedures. Through an integrated tube the balloon can be inflated separately, and thus prevents stenosis in the newly formed anastomosis, especially in patients in whom previous operations were unsuccessful.
