Zusammenfassung
Unser Patient zeigt neben ophthalmologischen Symptomen (Ptosis und Retinitis pigmentosa)
auch eine kardiale Reizleitungsstörung sowie eine mitochondriale Myopathie, wobei
letztere histologisch bestätigt wurde. Die Symptome können sich in unterschiedlicher
Reihenfolge manifestieren; wichtig ist aber in jedem Fall die enge Zusammenarbeit
von Ophthalmologen, Neurologen und Internisten.
Summary
In addition to ophthalmic symptoms (ptosis and retinitis pigmentosa), our patient
displayed symptoms of disturbances of cardial conduction as well a mitochondrial myopathy.
The latter was confirmed histologically. The order in which the symptoms of the disease
appear may vary, but the close cooperation of ophthalmologist, neurologist and internist
is vital in any event.
