Uveitis bei einer Rifabutin-Behandlung
Eine atypisch disseminierte Mycobakteriose findet sich oft bei AIDS-Patienten. Wir
beschreiben drei AIDS-Patienten mit einer vorderen Uveitis mit Vitritis, die wegen
einer atypischen Mycobakteriose-Infektion mit Rifabutin, Clarithromycin und Ethambutol
behandelt wurden. Die Hypothese einer sekundären Uveitis bei Rifabutin-Behandlung
wird diskutiert.
Summary
Disseminated Mycobacterium-avium complex (MAC) infection develops in most patients
with AIDS. We report three cases of anterior uveitis with vitritis in AIDS patients
treated by the combination of rifabutin, clarithromycin and ethambutol for MAC bacteremia.
Uveitis secondary to the introduction of rifabutin treatment is suggested.
