Abstract

The article reports on a case of neonatal purpura through established allo-immunisation in the PlA1system. Diagnosis was obtained by means of the serological antibody reaction via radioimmunoassay. A special feature of the case reported here is the unusually later normalisation of the thrombozyte count. Problems involved in the diagnosis and treatment of neonatal allo-immunothrombocytopenias are discussed.

Zusammenfassung

Berichtet wird über einen Fall von neonataler Purpura durch gesicherte Alloimmunisierung im PlA1-System. Die Diagnose erfolgte durch den serologischen Antikörpernachweis mit Hilfe des Radioimmuntests. Eine Besonderheit dieses Falles stellt die ungewöhnlich späte Normalisierung der Thrombozytenzahlen dar. Diskutiert werden Probleme der Diagnostik und Therapie neonataler Alloimmunthrombozytopenien.
