Polyneuropathie vom Landry-Verlaufstyp bei allergischer Granulomatose und Angiitis (Churg-Strauß-Syndrom)

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über einen Fall von Polyneuropathie bei allergischer Angiitis und Granulomatose (Churg-Strauss-Syndrom) berichtet. Er zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass nach kurzzeitiger Cortisontherapie eine langjährige Remission der Vaskulitis eintrat und die zunächst rasch progrediente Neuropathie sich bereits vor Therapiebeginn besserte. Die vaskulitische Genese der peripheren Nervenschädigung konnte durch den Nachweis von entzündlicher Gefäßinfiltrate in einer Suralisbiopsie gesichert werden.

Summary

A case of peripheral neuropathy due to allergic angiitis and granulomatosis (Churg-Strauss-Syndrome) is reported. Special features are a remission of vasculitis for several years after a short-term Cortison therapy and a relatively rapidly progredient neuropathy, which improved already before onset of therapy. The vasculitic cause of nerve damage has been proved by demonstration of eosinophilic vasculitis in a sural nerve biopsy.
