Summary

The nonreversed saphenous venous graft in coronary surgery gives better match of diameters at the aortic as well as at the coronary anastomosis.

The destruction of the valves is necessary and special valvulotomes are used.

This preliminary report of a new technique in coronary surgery must be followed by long term results.

Zusammenfassung

In der rekonstruktiven Arterienchirurgie hat sich der in situ orthograde Venenbypass nach instrumenteller Ausschaltung der Venenklappen durchaus bewährt.

Es wird über die Anwendung dieses Prinzips in der Koronarchirurgie berichtet.

Die bessere Lumenkongruenz der orthograd implantierten Vena Saphena als aortokoronarer Bypass sowohl an der aortalen als auch an der Koronaranastomose sprechen fur dieses einfache Bypassverfahren.

Die Zerstörung der Venenklappen mit Hilfe entsprechender Valvulotome ist weitgehend unproblematisch.

In dem vorläufigen Bericht wird von ersten Erfahrungen mit dieser Operationsmethode berichtet.
