Abstract

Cryotherapy has been used for several years in treatment of various types of cancers. This chapter describes the use of cryotherapy in the treatment of lung cancer. Various different treatment modalities have been used for the palliation of endobronchial tumors. Cryotherapy offers a cytotoxic method for removing endobronchial lesions. Cryotherapy has also been used in addition to chemotherapy and radiotherapy in treatment of lung cancer.
