ABSTRACT
An inferior rectus abdominis flap was transferred in an 83-year-old female patient with a cervical esophageal carcinoma. This flap can be a good option for pharyngoesophageal reconstruction when it is desirable to avoid Iaparotomy and to shorten the operating time in an elderly or high-risk patient.
