Over 700 free flap breast reconstruction procedures have been performed in a solo private practice setting during the past 14 years. Donor sites included TRAM, superior gluteal, tensor fasciae latae/lateral thigh, gracilis/medial thigh, and “Rubens” flaps. Flap survival has been greater than 99%.
