Zusammenfassung
ADHS im Erwachsenenalter ist mit einem erhöhten Risiko der Entwicklung einer Suchstörung
assoziiert. Wegen dem Suchtpotential von Methylphenidat wird die Behandlung mit Atomoxetin
bei Suchtpatienten mit ADHS diskutiert. Anhang von zwei Fällen werden erste Erfahrungen
beschrieben. Zukünftige Studien auch bezüglich der Dosierung sind notwendig.
Abstract
The adult form of ADHD is associated with a higher risk of developing a substance
use disorder (SUD). Due to the addictive potential of methylphenidate, treatment with
atomoxetine is discussed for patients with SUD and ADHD, and two cases are presented.
Future studies, also with regard to dosage, are needed.
