Abstract
The PROMPTTM System is a therapy method in the treatment of speech motor disorders. The efficacy of this method in acquired apraxia of speech has been shown in several American studies. This pilot study is the first application of the PROMPTTM System in German. In a pre- and post therapy test it could be shown that a patient with chronic acquired aphasia and apraxis of speech reached significant gains in her speech motor abilities.
