Erinnerungen an Gerhard Küntscher[*]

Zusammenfassung

Die Daten zeigen, dass in Ungarn die intramedulläre Osteosynthese fast in allen Formen vertreten ist. In die zu Beginn konservativ eingestellte Frakturbehandlung wurden in den vergangenen fünfzig Jahren alle international verwendeten Verfahren eingearbeitet. Im Programm unserer Unfallchirurgen erscheint basierend auf der Arbeit Küntschers die Marknagelung und nach den Prinzipien der AO die Platten- und Schraubenosteosynthese. In den vergangenen Jahrzehnten war es uns sehr schwer, mit den europäischen Schulen Schritt zu halten und die teuren Implantate und Instrumente zu erwerben. Wir beschaften die Implantate aber mit großer Mühe und die einheimischen Hersteller halfen uns bei der niveauvollen Versorgung unserer Patienten.

Remembrance of Gerhard Küntscher. Medullary nailing in Hungary

Summary

The data shows, that the medullary nailing is used in Hungary. In the last 50 years ago the conservative treatment were extended to all international used surgical treatments. The surgical methods of our traumatologists based on the technique of Küntscher's medullary nailing and on the principles of plate and screw fixation of the AO. In the last period it was very difficult to reach the same level of the European medicine schools and to buy the expensive implants and instruments. We worked very hard and the national companies support our high standard of treatment.

Résumé

Les documents montrent qu'en Hongrie l'ostéosynthèse intramedullaire est représentée dans presque toutes ses formes. Durant les 50 années écoulées, toutes les méthodes de traitement utilisées à l'échelle internationale se sont substituées à nos méthodes conservatives de traitement des fractures que nous appliquions à l'origine. Ainsi le programme de nos chirurgiens AO avec l'ostéosynthèse par vis et plaques. Durant ces décennies il était très difficile pour nous de rester au niveau des écoles européennes et de nous procurer les implants et les instruments très coûteux. Nous avons eu beaucoup de peine et nos fabricants nationaux nous ont aidés à donner à nos patients des soins de bon niveau.

Resumen

Los datos muestran que el enclavijado medular es usado en Hungría. En los últimos 50 años el tratamiento conservador se modificó hacia los tratamientos quirúrgicos usandos internacionalmente. Los métodos quirúrgicos de nuestros traumatólogos se basan en la técnica de enclavijado medular de Küntscher y en los principios de fijación con placas y tornillos de la AO. En el último período fue muy difícil alcanzar el mismo nivel de las escuelas médicas de Europa y comprar los implantes e instrumentos caros. Trabajamos muy duro y las compañías nacionales colaboran en nuestro alto estáandar de tratamiento.
