Zusammenfassung

Qualitative Untersuchung Wie erleben kritisch kranke, beatmete Patienten ihren Aufenthalt auf der Intensivstation und wie ergeht es ihnen im weiteren Verlauf? Diese Frage bleibt leider oft unbeantwortet, da Pflegende auf der Intensivstation meist nur den Ausschnitt der schwersten Krankheitsphase erleben. Es fehlen Rückmeldungen und Informationen darüber, woran sich diese Patienten später erinnern, wie sie ihre Erlebnisse bewerten und verarbeiten und wie sich ihr Gesundheitszustand seit der Entlassung von der Intensivstation verändert hat. Interviews mit Betroffenen geben Aufschluss.
