European Pediatric Surgical Association

The first Joint Congress of European Pediatric Surgical Association (EUPSA) and International Pediatric Endosurgery Group (IPEG) with European Society of Paediatric Endoscopic Surgeons (ESPES), including the Annual EUPSA Congress, was planned to be held in Vienna, Austria, on June 10 to 13, 2020. The Congress had to be cancelled due to the corona pandemic. However, despite the fact that accepted papers could not be presented orally, 57 manuscripts were submitted to be published in the EUPSA Congress Issue of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery.

The submitted manuscripts were reviewed by the EUPSA Publication Committee consisting of the Professors Ernest van Heurn from Amsterdam, Martin Lacher from Leipzig, Shawn St. Peter from Kansas City, Udo Rolle from Frankfurt, Juan Tovar from Madrid, Benno Ure from Hannover, Tomas Wester from Stockholm, and Augusto Zani from Toronto. Nineteen articles were finally accepted for publication. These papers confirm that an excellent quality of scientific work is being done by the pediatric surgeons not only in Europe but all over the world. The Editorial Board of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery is very pleased to release them in this issue.
