Brickellia cavanillesii (Cass.) A. Gray (Asteraceae) is a medicinal plant broadly used in México to cure stomach aches, gastritis and diabetes. In the present work, a validated HPLC method for quantitative determination of two active chromenes (1 and 2) present in the infusion of the plant has been developed. Parameters assessed according to ICH guide were linearity, limit of detection, limit of quantification, accuracy, precision, and selectivity. Statistical analysis of the data showed that the method is reproducible and selective for the estimation of 1 and 2.
