Zusammenfassung

Weichteilsarkome sind seltene Neoplasien des mesenchymalen Gewebes und werden oft verzögert diagnostiziert. Die Inzidenz in Europa liegt bei ca. 3,6 pro 100 000 Einwohner pro Jahr. Die Diagnosesicherung ist nur durch Materialgewinnung möglich. Das Ziel der Biopsie besteht darin, eine adäquate Menge an Material zu gewinnen, um eine sichere Diagnose stellen zu können, ohne die nachfolgende Therapie zu erschweren oder negativ zu beeinflussen. Die chirurgische Therapie, im Sinne einer weiten Resektion, bildet die wesentliche Säule in der Behandlung der Weichteilsarkome. In zweiter Linie kommt die Strahlentherapie adjuvant (Nachbestrahlung des Restkompartiments), seltener präoperativ (primär inoperable Tumoren) oder palliativ zum Einsatz. Die Wertigkeit der Chemotherapie bei Weichteilsarkomen muss von Fall zu Fall geklärt werden. Eine adäquate Behandlung erfordert eine interdisziplinäre Vorgehensweise und sollte in einem spezialisierten Zentrum erfolgen.

Abstract

Soft tissue sarcomas are rare tumours of the connective tissue. The knowledge of this rare entity is necessary for an accurate diagnosis. The incidence in Europe is about 3,6/100 000 per year. The first line treatment consists of a wide resection of the tumour, possibly combined with an adjuvant radiation therapy. A chemotherapy can be indicated and has to be evaluated for each case individually. A biopsy should be done before any treatment and in accordance with the oncological resection approach. The management of the soft tissue sarcoma has to be carried out by a specialist sarcoma multidisciplinary team.
