Zusammenfassung
Die Anwendung von Klasse-II-Mechaniken erfordert allgemein eine gute Verankerungskontrolle, um potentielle unerwünschte Effekte auf die Frontzahnstellung, insbesondere eine Protrusion der unteren Inzisivi, zu beherrschen. Anhand von 6 Fallbeispielen mit unterschiedlicher Ausprägung der Angle-Klasse-II-Anomalie lässt sich zeigen, dass bei Anwendung der vorgestellten Klasse-II-Mechaniken in Kombination mit der vollständig individuellen lingualen Apparatur das prätherapeutisch durch ein Ziel-Set-up festgelegte Behandlungsziel präzise erreicht wird. Jeder hierbei vorgestellte therapeutische Ansatz zur Behandlung einer Klasse-II-Malokklusion konnte in Kombination mit einer individuellen lingualen Apparatur erfolgreich klinisch umgesetzt werden.
Abstract
The use of orthodontic Class II mechanics in orthodontics demands a good anchorage to prevent side effects to the inclination of the incisors, especially the proclination of the lower anterior teeth.
By means of 6 case presentations with different types of class II malocclusions it will be demonstrated that the application of all different class II mechanics presented in combination with a fully customised lingual appliance can achieve exactly the pre-orthodontic target setup. Treatment goals could be achieved with all the different approaches presented.
