Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund: Brustkrebs ist die bei Frauen am häufigsten auftretende Krebserkrankung. Da die Behandlung erhebliche Kosten verursacht, wären evidente und effiziente Therapiemaßnahmen wirtschaftlich erstrebenswert.

Ziel: Die Übersichtsarbeit untersuchte den Einfluss körperlicher Aktivität auf Ermüdungssyndrom (Fatigue) und Lebensqualität bei Patientinnen mit Brustkrebs.

Methode: Die Literaturrecherche erfolgte in den Datenbanken Pubmed, PEDro, Cochrane Library, CINAHL und PsycINFO im Zeitraum von Februar bis März 2011, die qualitative Beurteilung der Studien anhand von PEDro-Skala und PRISMA.

Ergebnisse: Insgesamt wurden 17 RCT und eine Übersichtsarbeit eingeschlossen. 13 Studien beschäftigten sich mit der Einflussnahme auf die Lebensqualität, 12 Studien zusätzlich oder ausschließlich mit dem krebsbedingten Erschöpfungszustand. Die meisten Studien waren von mäßiger Qualität. Hinsichtlich beider Beobachtungskriterien ließen sich positive Ergebnisse bei Durchführung der körperlichen Aktivität sowohl während als auch nach der adjuvanten Therapie erzielen. Nach der momentanen Studienlage zeigt Ausdauertraining die größten Erfolge.

Schlussfolgerungen: Der Einsatz körperlicher Trainingsprogramme hat einen positiven Einfluss auf Fatigue und Lebensqualität bei Brustkrebs. Weitere Untersuchungen zur Festlegung detaillierter Trainingsparameter sind erforderlich.

Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is the most common carcinosis in women. As its treatment causes considerable costs, evident and efficient therapy interventions would be economically desirable.

Objective: This review examined the influence of physical activity on fatigue and the quality of life in breast cancer patients.

Methods: The literature searched was carried out in the databases Pubmed, PEDro, Chochrane Library, CINAHL and PsychINFO from February until March 2011. The studies were subjected to a quality assessment by using the PEDro-Scale and PRISMA.

Results: 17 RCT and 1 review were included. 13 studies examined the influence on quality of life and 12 studies additionally or exclusively investigated cancer-related fatigue. Most of the studies attained moderate quality. With a view towards both outcome parameters physical activity achieved positive results during and after the adjuvant therapy. Based on current scientific findings endurance training produces the best results.

Conclusion: The implementation of physical exercise programs has a positive influence on fatigue and quality of life in breast cancer. Further research is necessary in order to define explicit exercise parameters.
