Significance

Nanoporous metallic glass Pd (PdNpore) was prepared by electrochemical dealloying of metallic glass Pd₃₀Ni₅₀P₂₀ (eq. 1). PdNpore catalyzed the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling of boron reagents 1 with aryl halides in the presence of KOH to afford the corresponding biaryls in up to 99% yield (eq. 2, 15 examples).
