Significance

Two diamidophospite ligands were used in palladium-catalyzed allylic sulfonylation, alkylation, amination, etherification, and desymmetrization reactions. The novel ligands take advantage of the chirogenic phosphorus donor atoms, which create a more efficient chiral environment around the metal.
