Kutane Leishmaniase der Alten Welt nach Spanienaufenthalt

Zusammenfassung

Die kutane Leishmaniase der Alten Welt kommt endemisch im Mittelmeerraum vor und weist eine steigende Inzidenz auf. Oft kommt es durch diagnostisch schwierige Verläufe zu einer Therapieverschleppung. Wir berichten über einen 27-jährigen Patienten mit kutaner Leishmaniase der Nase nach Spanienaufenthalt. Nach langwieriger Diagnostik konnte die Therapie mit intraläsionalen Injektionen von Meglumin-Animonat in Kombination mit topischem Paromomycin erfolgreich durchgeführt werden.

Abstract

Cutaneous leishmaniasis of the old world is endemic in the Mediterranean area and shows a raising incidence. Due to diagnostically difficult courses it might come to delayed therapies. We report on a 27 year old male patient with a cutaneous leishmaniasis of the nose after a stay in Spain. After long-winded diagnostics, a therapy with intralesional meglumine antimonite injections and topical paromomycin was successful.
