Phytotherapie bei Colitis ulcerosa

Zusammenfassung

Bei Colitis ulcerosa sind die konventionellen Therapien, trotz großer Fortschritte in den letzten Jahren, oft unbefriedigend wirksam oder, besonders bei Steroidgabe, mit starken Nebenwirkungen behaftet. Patienten wenden daher häufig komplementärmedizinische Verfahren an. Mit Phytotherapie lassen sich leichte bis mittelschwere Verlaufsformen erfahrungsgemäß gut beeinflussen. Der Stellenwert von Blutwurz, Curcuma, Weihrauch und Flohsamen wird anhand der Literatur und den Erfahrungen des Autors dargestellt.
