Zusammenfassung
Innerhalb von 4 Jahren wurden 15 schwere Aspergillus-Infektionen, 8 Pneumonien und
7 Septikämien, beobachtet. Bei 14 der 15 Patienten bestand ein resistenzschwächendes
Grundleiden. In sechs Fällen wurde die Diagnose durch Erregernachweis in Sputum- oder
Bronchialsekretkulturen intra vitam gestellt. Eine antimykotische Behandlung wurde
bei sechs Patienten durchgeführt. Alle 15 Patienten starben im zeitlichen Zusammenhang
mit der Aspergillus-Infektion.
Summary
Within four years 15 cases of severe Aspergillus infection were observed: 8 pneumonias
and 7 septicaemias. 14 out of the 15 patients had an underlying disease lowering their
resistance. In six cases the diagnosis was made during life by demonstration of the
pathogen in sputum cultures or bronchial secretions. An antimycotic therapy was administered
in six patients. All 15 patients died in connection with the Aspergillus infection.
