Zusammenfassung
Eine rektale Myiasis wurde bei einem 4 Monate alten Säugling beobachtet, der während
mehr als 3 Wochen insgesamt etwa 300 bis 400 Larven von Fannia canicularis und Larven
und Puppen von Muscina stabulans ausschied. Eine orale Aufnahme der Parasiten konnte
mit Sicherheit ausgeschlossen werden. Die Myiasis verlief völlig komplikationslos
und heilte spontan aus.
Summary
Rectal myiasis was diagnosed in a four-month-old infant who during a period of more
than three weeks excreted a total of three to four hundred larvae of Fannia canicularis,
and larvae und pupae of Muscina stabulans. Oral infection of the parasites was definitely
excluded. The myiasis took its course without complications and disappeared spontaneously.
