Zusammenfassung

Unter den bioptischen Methoden der Pleurabiopsie durch kleine Thorakotomie und der blinden Stanzenbiopsie wird die thorakoskopische Biopsie an 1120 Fällen gezeigt. Nur ein Teil der Pleurakrankheiten geht von der Pleura aus. Die meisten sind Komplikationen sowohl von Krankheiten der Umgebung wie anderer Organsysteme. Die Thorakoskopie wird als ein Eingriff mit relativ geringem Risiko und einem hohen Wirkungsgrad von etwa 85 % geschildert. Die Bioptate sollten nicht nur histologisch und zytologisch, sondern auch bakteriologisch untersucht werden.

Summary

Pleura biopsy through a small thoracotomy and blind punch biopsy is compared with the experience gained with 1120 cases of thorascopic biopsy. Only some of the pleural diseases originate from the pleura. Most are complications of diseases both of the surroundings and other organs. Thoracoscopy is a lowrisk operation with a high degree (85%) of efficiency. The biopsy material should be examined bacteriologically in addition to its histology and cytology.
