Ductus arteriosus persistens – mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der Spätresultate der sogenannten malignen Form

Zusammenfassung

Wir können festhalten, daß sämtliche vor über 10 Jahren wegen eines isolierten Ductus arteriosus persistens operierten Patienten noch am Leben sind, keine Rekanalisierung aufweisen und mit 2 Ausnahmen als organisch herzgesund betrachtet werden können. Die klinischen Ergebnisse der Kranken mit präoperativer pulmonaler Hypertonie sind jenen der übrigen Patienten mindestens ebenbürtig.

It could be shown that all patients operated more than 10 years ago for a persistant arterial duct without other deformities are still alive, show no recanalisation and, with 2 exceptions, are regarded as having a sound heart organically. The clinical results of patients with preoperative pulmonary hypertension are at least as good as those without this complication.

Les auteurs constatent que tous les malades qui ont été opérés il y a plus de 10 ans pour l'existence d'un canal de Botal persistant sont encore en vie, qu'ils ne présentent aucune recanalisation et qu'ils peuvent être considérés à deux exceptions près comme des sujets au coeur sain. Les examens cliniques des malades avec une hypertension pulmonaire pré-opératoire sont certainement comparables à ceux des autres malades.
