Spätergebnisse des Venenersatzes

Zusammenfassung

Es werden die Spätergebnisse des Venenersatzes der Behandlung des postthrombotischen Syndroms anhand von 11 Fällen präsentiert. 3–8 Jahre post operationem erwies sich das Venentransplantat nur in einem Drittel der Fälle als radiologisch offen. Die möglichen Ursachen des chirurgischen Fehlschlages werden diskutiert. Demgegenüber erweist sich die chirurgische Erstversorgung traumatischer Venenläsionen mit Venentransplantaten als bedeutend aussichtsreicher.

Summary

The late results of autologous vein transplants in the treatment of the postphlebitic syndrome are presented. 3–8 years postoperatively no more than one third of the 11 grafts were radiographically patent. The reasons for failure of the Palma operation are discussed. In contrast the late results of surgical repair of traumatized veins is more favourable.
