Magenkarzinoid und gastroskopisches Bild

Zusammenfassung

Die präoperative Diagnose eines Magenkarzinoids ist selten trotz der durch Gastroskopie verbesserten Diagnostik. Nach Diskussion der pathologischen Anatomie und der endokrinen Charakteristika sowie des klinischen Syndroms werden zwei Beobachtungen mitgeteilt, die die diagnostischen Probleme aufzeigen. Bei endokrin stummen Tumoren führt die Operation und Tumorresektion mit histologischer Untersuchung zur Diagnose Karzinoid. Nach Meinung des Autors ist eine operative Revision bei polypösen Magentumoren auch dann erforderlich, wenn die gastroskopische Biopsie einen benignen Befund ergibt.

Summary

The preoperative diagnosis of stomach carcinoid remains seldom even in spite of improved diagnostic possibilities by gastroscopy. After discussion of the pathologic-anatomic and endocrine characteristics as well as the clinical syndrome of this disease two observations exhibit the problems of diagnose. In the case of endocrine silent tumor operative intervention with tumor resection leads to the diagnosis of a carcinoid by postoperative histologic examination. The stomach requires an operative revision even with benign histologic result of the gastroscopic exploratory.
