Summary
The only risk by the coelioscopy (laparoscopy for the upper, pelviscopy for the lower abdomen) is the blind punction of the abdomen. A new developed apparatus system (working with CO2 or N2O) according to Semm controls all proceedings during the insufflation. Manometers indicates immediately if the needle is not placed in the free abdominal cavity. The loss of gas during the endoscopy is replaced automatically.
