Zusammenfassung
Ein 61 jähriger Mann wurde durch ein Kleinkalibergeschoß, das in seinen Rücken eingedrungen war, verletzt. 30 Minuten danach kam er in schwerem Schock in die Klinik. Das Röntgenbild zeigte ein enormes Mediastinalhaematom.
Die sofortige Thorakotomie ließ eine Verletzung der extrapericardialen Aorta ascendens am Innenrand des Aortenbogens erkennen. Das Loch wurde vernäht. Der Verletzte ist am Leben geblieben.
Summary
A 61 years old male was hit in the back by a small calibre bullet. He was admitted to the hospital 30 minutes later. At that time he was in severe shock. A chest film showed an enormous mediastinal haematoma.
Immediate thoracotomy revealed a laceration of the extrapericardial aorta on the inner aspect of the arch. The hole was successfully closed and the patient is alive and working.

Un homme de 61 ans fut blessé par une balle de petit calibre qui entra au niveau de la région dorsale.
Il arriva 30 minutes plus tard à la clinique, dans un état de choc intense.
La radiographie montrait un hématome médiastinal énorme. Une thoracotomie immédiate montra une blessure extra-péricardique de l'aorte ascendante, au niveau du bord interne de l'arc aortique. Le trou fut recousu et actuellement le blessé vit.
