Es wird eine kurze Übersicht über die wichtigsten Fakten der Pharmakokinetik von Antidepressiva sowie insbesondere die Problematik des Zusammenhangs zwischen Serumspiegel von Psychopharmaka und klinischer Wirkung gegeben.

Summary

A short review is given on the main facts of pharmacokinetics of antidepressant drugs. The theoretical problem of establishing a relationship between plasma levels and clinical effects of antidepressant drugs is emphasized.
