Summary

A-30360 was tried on 11 schizophrenic patients with acute symptomatology in an open design. The drug showed antipsychotic effects in this small sample. The chief finding of this study was the importance of adequate dosage for a definitive therapeutic trial.

Zusammenfassung

A-30360 wurde bei 11 schizophrenen Patienten mit akuten psychotischen Symptomen in einer offenen Studie geprüft. Die Substanz ließ in dieser kleinen Patientengruppe antipsychotische Effekte erkennen. Das Hauptergebnis der Untersuchung war die Feststellung der Wichtigkeit der angemessenen Dosierung für eine entscheidende Wirksamkeitsbeurteilung.
