Significance

A new Cu-mediated C-H bond arylation with aryl boronic acids is described for 1,3,5-trimethoxybenzene. Multiple C-H bond arylations were achieved for the nitrogen-containing N-methylindole and N-methylpyrrole showing the potential of this reaction for future synthetic applications.
