Das Poplitealarterienaneurysma-Epidemiologie, Diagnostik und Therapie

Abstract

Die schwerwiegendste Komplikation des Poplitealarterienaneurysmas (PAA) ist die kritische Extremitätenischämie. Die Indikation zur Therapie besteht bei symptomatischen und bei asymptomatischen Aneurysmen größer als 2,0 cm. Therapiestandard ist das offen chirurgische Vorgehen. Alternativ kommt eine endovaskuläre Behandlung in Betracht. Die Qualität des kruralen Abstroms bestimmt maßgeblich die Bypass- oder Stentoffenheit.
