In Deutschland zeigen einige Studien, dass sie eine Alternative zur vollstationären Behandlung sein kann. Speziell zertifizierte Therapeut*innen helfen den Eltern dabei, ihren Kindern zu helfen, sich von ihrer Erkrankung zu befreien und eine altersgerechte Entwicklung durchlaufen zu können.
