Introduction

Herpes simplex keratitis (HSK) is a common condition characterized by the appearance of a typical dendritic ulcer, which can lead to progressive corneal scarring and potential visual loss disorders in those complex cases difficult to control and with multiple recurrences. To determine effective therapeutic procedures that avoid further recurrences and minimize disease duration, it is important to ensure a good visual prognosis in these patients.
