Stellungnahme zu allgemeinen Aspekten

Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Senologie (DGS) gibt zur Nutzenbewertung Pertuzumab (Mammakarzinom), Auftragsnummer A18 – 41, folgende Stellungnahme ab:

Das Mammakarzinom ist die häufigste Krebserkrankung der Frau [1]. Die Überexpression des HER2-Rezeptors („HER2-Positiviät“) ist per se mit einer schlechteren Prognose im Vergleich zu HER2-negativen Patientinnen vergesellschaftet [2]. Dieser prognostische Nachteil konnte in den letzten beiden Dekaden durch die Etablierung der HER2-zielgerichteten Therapie aufgehoben werden, sodass die HER2-zielgerichtete Therapie mittlerweile elementarer Standard bei der Behandlung des HER2-positiven Mammakarzinoms ist [3]. Unter anderem kommen hierfür in der adjuvanten Situation Trastuzumab und in der metastasierten Situation die Kombination aus Trastuzumab und Pertuzumab (sogenannte duale Blockade) zum Einsatz [4]. Sowohl für die Monotherapie mit Trastuzumab als auch für die duale Blockade konnte ein erheblicher klinischer Nutzen, d. h. eine deutliche Verbesserung der Prognose bei exzellenter Therapieverträglichkeit gezeigt werden [3] [5].
