Abstract

This article introduces the therapy and the treatment result of an adolescent patient with missing maxillary lateral incisors. The male patient with 14 years of age showed a dental Class I malocclusion with a mild skeletal Class III tendency and a vertical growth pattern. The main goal of treatment was a gap closure in the upper jaw and the replacement of the lateral incisors by the canines. Due to a better appearance, it was planned to reshape the canines and the first premolars after orthodontic treatment.
