Abstract

Fumaria densiflora DC., collected near Varna (Bulgaria) was investigated for its alkaloidal content. Protopine, cryptopine, coptisine, palmatine, adlumidiceine, (±)-sinactine, and a new spirobenzylisoquinoline alkaloid densiflorine were isolated. Benzophenanthridine alkaloids were not detected.
