Significance

The use of electronically diverse copper-P,N-ferrocene-based catalytic systems in the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of azomethine ylides to nitroalkenes allowed for the preparation of high enantiomerically pure pyrrolidine in a stereoselective manner.
