Introduction

Pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma is a relatively rare lung neoplasm usually presenting as a peripheral and solitary nodule, predominantly in asymptomatic women. Although its histogenesis is still a controversial issue, it is accepted by most researchers as an epithelial neoplasm deriving from primitive respiratory epithelial cells, incompletely differentiated type II pneumocytes, or Clara cells [[1]]. Generally, pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma has a benign clinical course, and accounts for about 11 % of benign pulmonary tumors [[2]]. Local recurrence of pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma is very rare. In this report, one case of pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma with recurrence is reviewed.
