Abstract

The phytochemical investigation of the aerial parts of Artemisia argyi afforded β-sitosterol, stigmasterol, α-amyrin, β-amyrin, friedelin, naringenin, quercetin, and four eudesmane derivatives, two of which were new eudesmanolides. The structures of the novel compounds were elucidated by high field NMR techniques.
