Abstract

The leaves of Cunila spicata Benth. (Lamiaceae) yielded a monoterpene diacetate called iso-rosiridol diacetate (1) and two isomeric hydroperoxymonoterpenes (2, 3) as well as β-sitosterol, phytol, cadinol, linalool, dihydrocarveol, geranyl and neryl acetate. Structure elucidation was done by high-field NMR-techniques.
