The SN2′-selective Grignard coupling with primary allylic diphenylphosphates was successfully achieved in the presence of a catalytic amount of CuCN·2LiCl. γ-Substituted allyl Grignard reagents reacted with allylic phosphates selectively at the less substituted allylic terminus.
